Dr. Anthony Martinez

"Baptist Medical Center is a thriving downtown hospital located in the heart of San Antonio. High-acuity patients are plenty, and what I enjoy most is how grateful the patients are for the care we provide. Excellent nursing staff and physician colleagues make BMC an ideal practice location for emergency physicians and advanced practice providers."

Hospital Services

Baptist Medical Center has been delivering the highest quality care in San Antonio since 1903. Emergent PCI and OB services are available onsite, as well as an adult psychiatric facility. Excellent specialty coverage (neurosurgery, ophthalmology, hand, etc.) is available across the five hospitals in San Antonio's Baptist Health System. ED physicians operate with an efficient "split-flow" ED process and enjoy a simple "one call" system for admissions and transfers. NPs and PAs practice independently in the ED, meaning physicians have no APP charts to sign.
